C1 Truck Driver Training Scholarship Program
Official Rules and Terms & Conditions

The C1 Truck Driver Training Scholarship Program (the “Scholarship”) is sponsored by C1 Truck Driver Training, LLC (“C1”). By applying, applicants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of C1, which are final and binding.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Applicants must meet all federal and state requirements for CDL training enrollment.
- Applicants must intend to pursue a Class A or Class B CDL through C1 Truck Driver Training.
- Employees of C1 Truck Driver Training or any affiliated entities, and their immediate family members, are not eligible.

- Definition of Immediate Family: Includes a person’s spouse, domestic partner, parents, stepparents, legal guardians, siblings, children, stepchildren, grandparents, grandchildren, in-laws, and household members (whether related or not).
- The Scholarship is void where prohibited by law.
How to Apply
- Complete the C1 Scholarship Application Form.
- Answer two open-ended questions:

- What inspired you to pursue a career in trucking?
- Why do you feel you would be a good candidate for this scholarship?
- Submit your application by the published deadline. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
Selection and Notification
- All eligible applicants will be entered into a random drawing to determine recipients.
- Non-Discrimination Clause: Selection will not be based on race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
Scholarship Award
- The scholarship covers the full cost of tuition for a Class A or Class B CDL through C1 Truck Driver Training.
- All other out-of-pocket costs (e.g., DOT physical, permit fees, DOT drug testing, travel, lodging, or other expenses) are the responsibility of the student.
- Recipients must complete all enrollment steps (CDL permit, DOT physical, DOT drug test, etc.) before starting training.
- Scholarships are non-transferable, have no cash value, and must be used within the timeframe noted.
Winner Notification
- Notification will be made by email and phone within 2 weeks of the application deadline.
- Recipients must confirm acceptance of the scholarship within 48 hours of notification. Failure to respond will result in forfeiture, and an alternate will be selected.
- Recipients must enroll in a Class A or Class B CDL training program through C1 Truck Driver Training within 3 months of their acceptance of the award. Failure to enroll during this period will result in forfeiture of the award.
Publicity & Rights
- By applying, applicants grant C1 Truck Driver Training the right to use their name, likeness, essay responses, or video submissions in promotional materials, advertising, and social media.
- Scholarship participants may receive additional marketing materials, including information about training programs, financing options, and upcoming promotions. Participation in the scholarship program constitutes consent to receive such communications from C1 Truck Driver Training and its affiliated entities.
- Applicants agree to sign additional publicity releases if requested.
General Conditions
- C1 reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Scholarship if fraud, technical issues, or other causes beyond C1’s control impair the integrity of the process.
- C1 is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete applications, or for technical failures of any kind.
- By participating, applicants release and hold harmless C1, its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in the Scholarship or acceptance or use of any award.
