School Bus ELDT Theory Training Online Course
What is School Bus Theory Training?
As of February 7, 2022, all drivers seeking a School Bus Endorsement must meet entry-level driver training (ELDT) requirements. This includes completing an FMCSA-approved School Bus theory training course and exam before taking the CDL skills training and testing. This important step is now mandatory to obtain a School Bus Endorsement on your CDL.
School Bus Theory Online Course
Our online School Bus Endorsement Theory course is backed by over 35 years of experience training professional drivers and is approved by the FMCSA. This course meets all requirements of the Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) mandate. C1 Truck Driver Training is registered with the FMCSA Training Provider Registry (TPR) list of approved schools.
The School Bus Endorsement Theory Online Course includes units covering the safe operation, loading and unloading procedures, and unique characteristics of school buses. Each unit features study questions to help students retain key information throughout the course. After completing all units, students must pass a proficiency exam with a score of 80% or higher. The exam may be retaken as many times as needed at no additional cost, and once passed, results are automatically submitted to the Training Provider Registry.
